Alana Austin was born on April 6, 1982 in Palm Springs, California. She was born into a family involved in show business. Her father is an actor and a model who has been working in the entertainment business for many years along southern California's coastal media mecca. Her father ( Steve Austin, former CEO of now-defunct TAG Entertainment - currently embroiled in a fraud and embezzlement trial) decided to give her a normal childhood. However, before or when reaching the age of six she started showing the desire to act. She wanted to be on TV doing what the people were doing "inside of there". She begged her father for 3 years that she would get involved. Eventually, Alana started working so much that she was tutored. Her grandmother was Troy Donohue's girlfriend "Cupcake" on Surfside 6.
